My name is Rhissa, I saw your blog address in another adoptive families blog page. My husband and I have 3 children, our son, who just turned 5 on January 1, we just adopted last year from Vietnam. I am able to relate to some of the emotions you described recently. I believe we are in the same area, we too saw the ICE exhibit a few years ago.
Our family is literally a tribe, made up of many nations including America, Chile and China. My name is Sera, I'm 18, a senior in high school and heading off to college in the fall. I am the oldest of seven children in my family, including Elena (16), Kayla (13), Ian (10), Asher (8), Esther (5) and Emma (5). Our youngest three were adopted from China in 2004, 2006 and 2007. Of course, can't forget my parents.. Claudio & Nancy, we completely outnumber them. Our life is crazy and always busy, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Welcome to life in the Tribe of Nine!

Once again, great pics!
so precious. Unfortunately, about the time they're old enough to wash dishes unsupervised, they'll probably outgrow their love for it.
