The Thanksgiving Weekend

Instead of beating the crowds at the shopping malls all day, we waited around until things got a bit quieter around town before heading out. The night after Thanksgiving, Elena and I took the boys to see a movie at Downtown Disney. (We saw August Rush--it was a great movie!) It was the first time Asher had been to anything like Disney and he was completely enamored with everything! The lights, all of the people and of course, Legoland!

Both boys fell asleep on the way home!!

Then on Sunday, we took all of the kids back to Downtown Disney to see another movie. (The girls saw Enchanted, and it was really cute.) While waiting to meet up with Dad and the boys, us girls did a bit of walking around and we found Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, as you can see in the below photo's! We also caught a glimpse of Santa Clause, but the long line didn't look too appealing for a visit. Instead, we got the little girls close enough so they could actually see him and they thought that was just the coolest thing. Esther was so excited she yelled, "Santa Clause!!! Look at me!!" I think Santa was a bit overwhelmed! The girls don't know it yet, but they will have their turn to visit Santa in the next few days. Once we found Dad and the boys, I took Asher over to see Santa, but he didn't seem to really understand. But, by the end of this Christmas he will definitely know who Santa Clause is as he is going to be pretty generous this year!!

Notice the fact that the boys are wearing sweaters and jeans in the first set of photos.. and just two days later, Esther and Emma are sporting shorts and flip flops! Just a glimpse of the crazy weather here in Florida!!
